Return Policy for the 2011 Holidays:


All Purchases Received from December 1st through X-Mas Eve 2011

Data Security and Protection

We guarantee that every online transaction you make will be 100 % safe. This means you pay nothing if unauthorized charges are made to your card as a result of shopping at our online store. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50.00 of fraudulent charges. If your bank does hold you liable for any of this $50.00, we will cover the entire liability for you, up to the full $50.00. We will only cover this liability if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made while using the secure server. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures. We also make every effort to ensure that your purchase experience at CertifiedDigital.com is secure. We use state-of-the-art data encryption technology to protect against loss, misuse or alteration of your user information. Secure Socket Layers (SSL) encrypt the information sent between your computer and our database. In addition, we use Internet fraud screening to protect credit card transactions.

We also protect your purchase by preventing the shipment of merchandise to a fraudulent address. All billing addresses are verified electronically and all alternate shipping addresses are verified manually. Any customer shipping to an address that differs from the billing address must put this alternate address on file with his or her credit card company. We then call the credit card issuer to verify that the customer has indeed put the information on file. Also, please note that CertifiedDigital.com reserves the right to deny the request to ship to an address other than the billing address.


Confirmation, Pricing and Availability:

We make every effort to get your order to you as soon as possible. In-stock items are generally shipped within 48 business hours after confirmation. Please note that shipping time does not include processing time. If there is a problem with your order you will receive an email stating more details. Items shipped by UPS Ground may take longer, depending on your location. Special and Custom orders may also take longer to process. Standard shipping is free to the 48 contiguous states, we also offer expedited shipping options. All orders are shipped via UPS or USPS. Unfortunately, it is common that packages are lost or damaged during delivery, and therefore insurance is required on every order that we ship. Please note that insurance is a separate charge which varies depending on shipment destination, transit time, package weight, dimension and total value of the entire order. Therefore please be sure to ask our Customer Service Representatives about our shipping options and the cost associated with insuring your order. All shipments will be insured by UPS or USPS for the first $100.00, the remainder must be insured by our third party insurance company in order for the package to be fully insured {Protected}. If the package containing your order is lost or damaged during shipping, we will certainly replace what is lost or damaged. All costs involved in insuring each package will be forwarded to the customer at the time of purchase. Please be aware that because cost prices fluctuate from week to week, we do not offer any price protection once an order has been shipped.



Information Collected

When shopping on our site, we collect personal information from you such as your name, e-mail address, billing address, shipping address, telephone number, product selections, credit card or other payment information. We may also collect, or our third party ad server and content server will collect the URL you came from, IP address, domain types (e.g. .com or .org, etc.), your browser type, the country, state and telephone area code where your server is located, the pages of our site that were viewed during a visit.


How Information is Used

We do not sell or rent your personal information to others. We use customer information we collect only for the purposes of filling orders, contacting purchasers to inform them of their order status, sending promotional information, enhancing the operation of our site, for statistical purposes and to administer our systems. We may use third parties to help us fulfill orders, to help process payments, to provide customer service, to serve site content, to help administer promotional emails, and to administer warranties purchased. We give them access to the information needed to complete their job. Sometimes that includes a portion of your personal information. Sales Tax

All orders shipped to the state of New York are subject to pay sales tax.


For Returns

When you shop at CertifiedDigital.com, we want you to be completely satisfied. If you find that you must return an item, we try to make this process as easy as possible!
Please see Return Instructions on the bottom of this page on how to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA). Please note, no order will be returned nor refunded without obtaining an RMA number initially. Please note, extended warranties are non-refundable due to the fact that each warranty is preregistered with the product serial number of the camera purchased.


Basic Policy:

Within 7 days of receiving a shipment you may return any un-opened/un-used products for a refund less shipping and 15 % restocking fee. Note that we also have every right to charge any shipping, delivery, and / or intercept fees which occur from our shipping carrier. A copy of the original packing slip and RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number must accompany all returns. A refund will be issued only to the original credit card which the charge was made.


 

Cancellation Policy:

 

Please note that orders can only be cancelled and refunded in full if they are cancelled within the same day that it was placed. If an order is cancelled any time later than a day after it was placed, there will be an 8 % charge to cover credit card and other fees. No order can be cancelled or adjusted once it is in shipping status. 

Return Instructions:

Use the original packaging or a strong corrugated box.
Pack and tape your package securely.
Follow the instructions in your RMA email to ship the package back to us.

 

 

International Credit Cards
We do not accept any form of credit or debit card issued from any country outside of the United States. If, however, an international credit card was indeed charged, the order will be immediately cancelled and the card will be refunded or the charge will be voided. Please note that we charge in US Dollars and refund in US Dollars. We do not have any control over the exchange rate between currencies. Additionally, CertifiedDigital.com is not responsible for any discrepancies in the amount refunded due to the exchange rates. Place an order with an international credit card at your own risk.

 

 

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates cannot be exchanged or returned for cash, credit or check.

Once we receive your Signed RMA Form you will receive a E-Mail within 48 business hours that will contain a Return RMA Label which will contain Your RMA # with instructions on how to pack and ship your return.

You must use the Included Return Label in order to avoid any delays in processing your return.

Returns for Refunds: you will be refunded the amount specified on the approved RMA form within 14 days of receipt of your return, Refunds will either be in the form of a credit to your Credit / Debt card on file, or we will issue and mail you a check at our option.
